Jordi Graupera (Barcelona, 1981) holds a doctorate in political philosophy from The New School for Social Research. He taught at various north American universities, and he has collaborated with media outlets around the world, including Catalunya Ràdio, BBC World and NY1 News. He is currently a researcher at Princeton University where his work focuses on international relations and the contradictory nature of the liberal state in the face of human dispute. In 2019, he ran for mayor of Barcelona on the platform Barcelona és capital. One of his most recent essays, Pride, is included in the collection The Seven Deadly Sins.
