Mara Faye Lethem (New York, 1971) is a writer and translator from Catalan and Spanish. She has lived and worked in both New York and Barcelona, and has translated the likes of Javier Calvo, Patricio Pron, Albert Sánchez Piñol, Toni Sala, Juan Marsé and Irene Solà. Her work has been published by the New York Times, Booklist and Publishers Weekly, and shorter pieces have been featured in The Guardian, Granta and The Paris Review. For her translation of Sara Moliner’s The Whispering City, she received an English PEN Award.
